Firefighting Equipment

Intervention equipment for volunteer, facility and professional firefighters: nozzles and foam branch pipes, hoses, dividers and collectors, shut-off valves, strainer baskets and deep-suction devices, water shields, keys and tools, as well as accessories required for intervention.

The equipment is manufactured with Storz-type couplings, so it can be used together with existing equipment. If a specific item is not listed in our range, just ask: we can source many things from our suppliers.

What belongs to the suction side and what to the pressure side?

Suction-side equipment is located between the water source and the suction port of the pump: suction hose, strainer, deep-suction device, wrenches. Pressure-side equipment is located between the discharge port of the pump and the nozzle, including the nozzle itself: delivery hose, manifold, shut-off valve, nozzle, foam nozzle, foam inductor.

This division also helps with purchasing: a delivery hose should never be used on the suction side, as it collapses under vacuum.

Nozzles

The nozzle determines what kind of water jet you can produce. A straight jet gives a long reach, a spray jet cools better and protects the operator, while the adjustable version can be switched on the fly. With a shut-off nozzle the water can be stopped locally, which is more economical and safer.

The foam nozzle mixes the foam-forming agent with air: for producing medium- and heavy foam, for fires involving flammable liquids.

Manifolds, collectors, shut-off valves

A manifold supplies several work stations from one feed line, while a collector works the other way round: it feeds one line from several sources. Both have branches that can be shut off separately, typically with a valve-stem or lever shut-off. The most common configuration is B-75 split into two C-52, or C-52 split into two D-25.

Water shields, strainer baskets, deep-suction devices

A water shield creates a water curtain: it protects against heat radiation or prevents the spread of fire. The strainer basket protects the pump from debris, while deep-suction devices help where water is hard to access or only a limited amount is available.

Frequently asked questions

Who can purchase these products?

Anyone can order them, but these are intervention equipment items: designed for volunteer and facility fire brigades, industrial fire-protection organizations, and industrial facilities. Their use requires training and practice.

Will they fit our existing equipment?

The Storz-type coupling is standardized, so couplings of the correct size fit equipment from any manufacturer. If you are unsure about the size, send us a photo of your existing coupling.

Can we order equipment that is not in the range?

Yes, we can source many products. Let us know what you need, and we will get back to you about availability and delivery time.

Can we get an individual offer as a volunteer fire brigade association?

Yes, we offer special pricing for larger quantities and regular procurement. Send your list via the Quote request page, and we will respond within 24 hours.
