Device suitable for extinguishing engine fires occurring in the engine compartment of passenger cars
Operating principle:
The extinguishing agent is contained in a heat-sensitive, transparent, flexible tube, 2 metres long.
The tube must be positioned and routed in the area to be protected so that it covers the entire space to be protected (the product package includes a sufficient number of plastic fixing units for mounting).
If the ambient temperature rises due to any glowing or open flame, the pressure inside the tube also increases and the tube bursts, causing the gas inside to be released and extinguish the fire within a very short time.
